Laurel Bay - Neighborhood

An additional 1,062 acres comprises Laurel Bay, situated three miles west of MCAS Beaufort. Laurel Bay contains 1,098 family homes. As a result of the PPV, Laurel Bay has received brand new neighborhoods along with major renovations to existing housing. To date, two new community centers have been built along with a pool and wet deck. To help add to the community feel, picnic and barbeque areas, pavilions and playgrounds have also been constructed.

Adding to the aesthetics of the neighborhood, all Laurel Bay areas have received new landscaping with special attention to the gated entrance area and the main Laurel Bay road on base.

The Laurel Bay Community Center offers a pool and finished deck, as well as 24 hr. access to a fitness center. The Edisto Woods Community Center is available for use, free of charge to all AMCC residents.
